What is NOX?
NOX is an encrypted communications application for voice, messages, files and groups. It is built for units and organisations that need to control who talks to whom, not just “a private chat”.

Capability 01
Secure contacts
Access is granted by the organisation. Nobody invites themselves.
- The NOX directory lives inside the app, separate from the phone address book.
- When the session ends, the contacts do not stay on the device.
- The administrator creates and removes users from NOX Studio.

Capability 02
Secure voice calls
Voice is encrypted at the source and decrypted only at the destination. During the call you can:
Switch to conference
Mute microphone
Use speaker
Switch to Bluetooth
Capability 03
Secure messages
- Encrypted on send
- Content is encrypted before it is sent. The server is not where the message is read.
- Expiry
- The sender defines when the message is deleted at both ends.
- No copying outside
- Forwarding, screenshots and taking the file out of the app can be restricted.
- Controlled groups
- Who joins and who leaves is decided by the group administrator.
Capability 04
Files and lost devices
A NOX session must not leave the history mixed in with Photos or WhatsApp.
IF THE PHONE IS LOST OR STOLEN
- The account is closed or revoked from Studio.
- NOX contacts do not stay in the native address book.
- The session material must not remain usable on the device.
That is governance, not just “a padlock on the chat”.
